I though this product would be a good one due to the company reputation on hair removal being very good. It was very disappointing to use this product as instructed and get no results. I tried twice thinking I had made a mistake in the instructions but the results were the same -- no hair removal.

I do not recommend this product if you have facial hair to remove.

I used this product on my chin. I actually let the three most annoying chin hairs grow out a bit since the instructions say it does not work on very short hair. When I applied this after following the instructions--heating the wax by putting the tube in a glass of very hot tap water--it went on like stiff, sticky glue. I then pressed one of the provided fabric strips 3 times according to instructions, held my skin taunt and then pulled it off in the direction of the hair growth. I actually had to use the wax twice to get two out of three of the most annoying hairs. On the plus side, my skin feels smooth and soft (except for that third hair). On the negative side, I still have to shave that 3rd of the longest hairs. I surrender--I'm getting out the razor. I don't recommend this product--not by the hair of my chinny-chin-chin.

You float the tube in a cup of hot water and hope you got it just right to dab on your face at just the precise thickness. Then you pat on a tiny piece of thick gauze and smooth it down in the direction the hair is growing. What if you have a cluster of hairs in the same spot growing in different directions! Then you rip the gauze off. Then you find your fingers are gummy, you have wax residue on your face, everything you touchy gets gummy, and surprise, most of the hairs are still there. This is just too much trouble. Get tweezers.

Convenient, effective and a lot of strips! I don't use anything else. These are not messy at all.

I use the big ones for my face too, just use scissors to cut the right shape. Make sure you leave an "edge" to grab hold of without having to get your hands sticky. Once you place it on, rub it 2-3 times, no more, and then pull against the grain. If you rub more than 3 times, the honey can get soft.

My sister recommended this product awhile back and I just didn't believe it could work. Boy was I wrong. The strips (clear, plastic strips)are prewaxed and stuck together so all you have to do is warm the strip against your skin (I put the wax strip against my stomach and place my hand over it) and tear them apart, then place the strip where you want hair removed, yank it off (against the way the hair grows) and viola the hair is gone. You just throw away the used strip once you are done with it. There is no mess and no fuss. It does get most of the hairs you want removed too. I have used this for a year now and absolutely love it and highly recommend it. You can get this at Ulta which is where I get mine.

These do not pull out all the hairs on the leg, make sure you don't leave the strips on too long, or not long enough. It depends on the temperature. You can also reuse them, especially if you aren't too hairy like me. They also work fantastic on the armpits, and I'm noticing my hair regrowth is slowing down. Place the strips in the direction of the hair growth and pull out against the hair growth. You may have to try multiple times as my hair growth isn't the same direction. Tried on bikini line, works OK - I recommend the Brazilian hot wax for that.

I've been using Nad's Hair Removal Gel for several years on my face, underarms, and legs. Your hair does have to be a certain length for it to work, but that is true of all wax products. The best thing about Nad's is that it does not have to be heated, so there is no danger of burning yourself with wax that is too hot - it heats using your own body heat. The amount of hair I have has lessened over the years, and with regular use, there is no pain to waxing, and it lasts for weeks. I hope this product stays on the market. I cannot afford to have waxing done professionally. It is so much easier and less expensive to be able to wax in the privacy of your own home.

I have read some of the comments made by others who have left low ratings and , so here are some waxing basics to follow if you want Nad's or any other waxing product to work correctly:

1. Waxing is generally painful. You are ripping the hair out by its root. There's really no way around that one. You will eventually get used to it, and the faster you can pull the strip, the less pain you will have.

2. Prep your skin correctly. Wash the area with plain soap and luke warm water (no moisturizing soaps etc.) Thoroughly dry the skin, and dust with a light layer of baby powder.

3. Heat the gel. I know it's supposed to be a no heat get, but if you heat it up for a bit (not till it's boiling or runny like water!) then you can apply a lighter layer of wax. When waxing, you want the thinnest layer of wax applied over the hair in the direction of hair growth.

I am DONE with shaving my legs, underarms, and bikini area -- the inevitable cuts, stubble, and irritated skin are too much to deal with. I had let my leg hair grow over the winter because shaving dry skin makes the problems even worse. I had planned to go in for a wax, but it's way too expensive. Depilatories such as Nair do not work for me. I remembered the old TV commercial for Nads and decided to give it a try even after reading many mixed reviews online.

I was astounded at how well Nads worked on all three areas. I felt no pain using it on my legs or underarms -- it just felt like removing a Band-Aid. The bikini area was a different story. It hurt like hell. The skin on my upper inner thighs is "jiggly," so it was impossible to hold it completely taut while pulling the Nads strips.
