I though this product would be a good one due to the company reputation on hair removal being very good. It was very disappointing to use this product as instructed and get no results. I used this product on my chin. I actually let the three most annoying chin hairs grow out a bit since the instructions say it does not work on very short hair. When I applied this after following the instructions--heating the wax by putting the tube in a glass of very hot tap water--it went on like stiff, sticky glue. I then pressed one of the provided fabric strips 3 times according to instructions, held my skin taunt and then pulled it off in the direction of the hair growth. I actually had to use the wax twice to get two out of three of the most annoying hairs. On the plus side, my skin feels smooth and soft (except for that third hair). On the negative side, I still have to shave that 3rd of the longest hairs. I surrender--I'm getting out the razor. You float the tube in a cup of hot water and hope you got it just right to dab on your face at just the precise thickness. Then you pat on a tiny piece of thick gauze and smooth it down in the direction the hair is growing. What if you have a cluster of hairs in the same spot growing in different directions! Then you rip the gauze off. Then you find your fingers are gummy, you have wax residue on your face, everything you touchy gets gummy, and surprise, most of the hairs are still there. This is just too much trouble. Get tweezers. |
