I bought this pretty little shaver after my old shaver started getting dull. It was defected. No problem-I exchange it, and the new one works just fine. After charging it, I get to work. Trim trim trim-I trim it down to the shortest setting with the safety on. I'm looking good. I have to shave slowly and at multiple angles for the hair to evenly cut. Whatever. I'm not about to knick myself down there by shaving too quickly anyway. I try out the other head that is supposed to make you smooth like butter. It pinches me. Jerk! Ouch! I try not pressing on the skin, but it feels weird and it doesn't cut the hair down anymore. Anxiously, I try again in a different, less sensitive spot- darn! It pinches again! Wahhhhhh. I want it to work. This becoming worse than a wax, almost. Not much is worse than a wax, if you ask me. Yowsers! I have to get the ole razor out and finish the job. But, I live in Europe and since I have yet to find a good (or hygienic) place to get a brazilian wax, I was desperate. Luckily, my suspicions were correct: it must have been operator error, because the epilator is fantastic! Its very time-consuming to do a thorough job, and I actually need my husband's help to achieve a complete brazilian (he is a good sport). But, the bottom line is... I am completely satisfied with this purchase. I did realize that it is easier to use the epilator if the hair is a bit longer (no shorter than a #3 with the razor comb attachment). On a side note, the eyebrow attachment I used once, and won't use it again.
