Other home waxing kits either don't work or are extra painful leaving bruising because it's not effective. Not so with Nair Salon Devine. Pop the container in the microwave and heat according to the directions. Spread on. Wait a minute or two for it to dry and quickly pull off the strip of wax. No more messing around with cloth strips or gooey waxes that don't fully dry.As with any wax hair removal, a certain amount of pain is involved. That goes without saying. Also, like most wax products, there's a certain amount of mess involved. I hated having to pay $80 every 6 weeks to get waxed so I decided to do it my self. I've been using this wax for 2 years now. In regards to bikini waxing, it DOES hurt in some areas depending on how much hair you have and how long it's been since your last wax. I prefer to wax consistently every 6-7 weeks. Anything after 8 is like waxing for the first time all over again.I have not had any problems with stray hairs, extreme pain, bruising, or tons of wax residue left over like some of the negative reviewers had.
